Thasmiya and Hamid chose to celebrate their wedding a little differently.

Rather than a large celebration, they brought their closest family and friends together for an intimate Nikkah at a beautiful Airbnb by the backwaters of Kerala. Surrounded by the people who mattered most, the day felt personal, relaxed and deeply meaningful.

Hamid, a wedding cinematographer, photographer and editor, knows perhaps better than most what it means to preserve a moment. Thasmiya, who works in medical research, brought her own quiet warmth to a celebration that felt completely true to them.

With the Kerala backwaters as their backdrop, their Nikkah unfolded simply and beautifully — filled with familiar faces, heartfelt moments and the easy happiness of being surrounded by their favourite people.
